Does my work have to be framed?
No, but it does have to be ready to hang on the wall. No clip frames or plexi boxes. Framing should look professional. Work needs to be completely dry. Painting or finishing surrounding outside edge of canvas or board is required if not framed.
Both 2-D and 3-D works may be accepted. Artist may be asked to provide a pedestals for sculptures.
Can I ship the work or drop it off early?
We’re working out the details for the intake. We plan to have 2 days available for drop off before the event. A friend may also drop off your work and fill in the paperwork.
How do artists get paid?
The artists receive 60% of the sale price, paid to artists promptly, within 10 business days of the show. Artwork in the show is cash and carry. All sales will be conducted the night of the exhibit.
BFA may opt to display photos of artwork on Business for the Arts of Broward’s facebook page, social media, website and in emails before and following the event.
