Golden: Meet the man behind the monsters making us smile
Business for the Arts of Broward (BFA) continues its 2019 Arts Mean Business Speaker Series with street artist, illustrator and painter Cristhian “Golden” Saravia
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Saravia comes from generations of illustrators and furniture designers. He developed recognizable graphic characters he refers to as “monsters” and earned his moniker “Golden.”
His work can be found in cities such as Hong Kong, Bangkok, Rio de Janeiro, Akumal, Caracas, Santiago, New York, Miami, Las Vegas and others. Golden’s art has been featured at ArtRepublic, ULTRA Music Festival, ARTSEA Cruise, Electric Daisy Carnival, Elenctric Forest Festival and many more. Saravia’s corporate clients include Mellow Mushroom, Ducati, Swarm Event Agency, Bass Pro Shops, SLS Hotels, CVS Pharmacy, Edible Arrangements, High Hemp, Adidas, Juxtapox Magazine and Bank of America, just to name a few.
